Logistics
What happens after harvest.
Shipping begins after harvest. Harvest occurs when the box is ready. We do not ship boxes that are not ready. This means that the question of when shipping begins is functionally the same as the question of when the box is ready, which is addressed in the FAQ.
We select carriers based on the contents of the individual box. A box with fragile contents is handled differently from a box without them. We do not disclose the carrier or tracking number in advance of dispatch. You will receive a notification when the box ships. The notification will include whatever tracking information is available.
Once dispatched, delivery typically occurs within the timeframe normal for the selected carrier and destination. We do not offer expedited shipping. The cultivation period is long enough. We are not going to introduce unnecessary urgency at the logistics stage.
We package carefully. We expect boxes to arrive intact. In the event that a box is damaged during shipping, contact your curator. We will determine the appropriate response on a case-by-case basis.
It is the recipient's responsibility to ensure the curator has an accurate delivery address at the time of harvest. We do not maintain address records beyond the current active order. If your address has changed since the box entered cultivation, please notify us.
